Synopsis
A freight train rolls through a vast grassland stretching towards the Caucasus Mountains. Day in, day out, the engine driver Nurlan steers his train through a suburb of Baku, where houses are built so close to the tracks that residents use the rails to drink tea and hang out laundry. As soon as the train approaches, the orphan boy Aziz blows his whistle loudly, and the residents quickly grab their belongings and jump into their houses. Anything not brought inside is taken away by the train. While cleaning the engine, Nurlan finds chicken feathers, toy balls, and bedsheets. The day before his retirement, Nurlan finds a peculiar item of clothing on his engine: a light blue lace bra. Nurlan takes it home. The bra keeps him awake at night. Driven by loneliness, Nurlan sets out to find its owner.
